This week has been a short week but we have still managed to get a lot of learning done.
We have continued with our topic on the decades and have been looking at popular music and dance moves from our decade. Next week we are going to record these moves and make a class dance.

We have also been looking at perimeter in maths and solving problems using our knowledge of shape and perimeter strategies.
In writing we have edited and made improvements to our persuasive writing pieces from last week. Our teachers have been very impressed by them.
We had our first whole school assembly and it was great being back all together. We sang songs and met our ‘friends of Kingsland’ who are people in the community who work with children and schools in Tweeddale.
We have also had another Wellbeing Wednesday Session and have thoroughly enjoyed playing games, from the different decades, with one another.
In photography, we have started work on portraits and used different camera angles and backgrounds to create some spectacular photos.

I have enjoyed doing photography because it has been fun editing the photos and I have also enjoyed doing the maths this week.
This week I have enjoyed doing our writing about pets for children.It was really fun and I hope we do more.This week I have also enjoyed doing our photography.It was very interesting to see how much you can edit the picture and stuff.This week I have also enjoyed doing our 1970s board games.It was great fun playing all of the different games and stuff.
I enjoyed finishing of our Persuasive writing about how every child should own a pet. Also I really enjoyed playing the board games through the decades and well-being Wednesday!
This week I’ve enjoyed doing the exposition text about pets because a persuasive message can encourage to follow in your footsteps.I also enjoyed perimeters in maths because everything we own can have a angle and perimeter.
This week I have enjoyed the photography because I have learned a lot more about the features of taking a picture. Also I have enjoyed doing maths because lately I have been putting up my hand more and can respond quickly.
I enjoyed doing the photography because I can now get really good photos and I enjoyed doing well being Wednesday because I got to learn new game that I have never played before.
I have really enjoyed taking photos and editing them to make the photo look different and I have also enjoyed playing games in wellbeing Wednesday and play loads of different games.
I enjoyed well being Wednesday I loved playing the game it was so fun and I also liked photography it was fun taking pictures of all the different thing.
I have enjoyed photography because it is really fun experimenting with lots of different photo options. I also enjoyed maths this week because it is not to hard and not to easy.
This week I have really enjoyed doing our pet writing in the end they all turned out really well and then we printed out our writing and now all the people in my group and everyone else’s group has a permanent writing piece of pets.
