In P7s they were learning about the easter story different types of maps and and maths they were learning 2D shape in 2D shape triangles ; isocelos, equilateral, scalene and right angled they were also learning about how to draw a triangle. They enjoyed doing maths, writng and Rhys and Katie went to pick a trophy from Galashiels for walking to school.

This week P7S have been doing line drawrings for art and they have been in partners to do setting description work. 

In P7B we have been learning about Robert Burns. We have been learning one of his famous peoms Tam o Shanter which is for our Clachen competition. We have also been learning about Burns’ life that he lived on a farm and when he was born and died. With Mr Talyor we have been learning a few scottish songs like auld lang Ae fond kiss and Aye Walkin o it is really fun.It has been great. We hope to do more fun stuff.

On friday the 25th of January P7 (us) will be hosting a burns lunch. Some of us will be reading a poem, som eof us will be doing a tost to the laddies (lassies) and many more jobs. We are all looking forward to hosting the burns lunch however some of us might be packed lunch witch could be a problem, but hopefully none of us will be!

In P7B we have been writing Fairy Tales In Scots with Miss Paish. I wrote Cinderella.

In p7B we have been learning about Robert Burns and his life style. We have done veriose different activatys such as lisitnen to Mr Barry from the clacin about our compition witch is Tam o shanter and drew some line pictures like this:

With Miss Hayman we learned about Purim, and in a text we were looking at, it told us about King Xerxes. He wanted to kill all the Jewish peolpe but Haman saved the Jewish people. Mordecai started the Purim parade.
