In the Ladybird room, we can take up to 40 children. Within this room we provide full day provision over the 1140 hours offered by the Scottish Government.

The full day session is 9am – 3pm.

You are more than welcome to bring a packed lunch for your child.

The children in the Early Years Centre are provided with a large range of learning experiences which support the outcomes within the Early Level of Curriculum for Excellence. More information about our curriculum can be found elsewhere on the website.

We encourage taking our learning outdoors in all weathers, especially during these challenging times. Please ensure the children wear appropriate clothing, and come to nursery with wellie boots and waterproofs, which must be taken home at the end of each day. If your child does not come to nursery with wellie boots or waterproofs then you will be asked to collect them from home and bring them back to the nursery.

You should also bring a bag with spare underwear and clothes in case of accidents, or nappies/pull-ups and wipes. The nursery cannot provide a change of clothes for children to wear due to health and safety reasons surrounding the Coronavirus.

We kindly ask for a £1.50 contribution towards snacks, birthdays and other celebrations per week.

We also ask that if your child is displaying signs or symptoms of Coronavirus that you follow the advise from the Scottish Government regarding self-isolation and contact the nursery to inform us. If your child is ill in any way, please keep them safe at home. If your child becomes ill at nursery we will call you to come and collect them as soon as possible.

Thank you.
