Each week we come together as a school community for our assembly weekly.<\/p>\n
Our weekly assembly focuses on a range of topics, current issues and school priorities.\u00a0 It is also a chance for our children to celebrate their many successes and achievements.<\/p>\n
During assembly, we look closely at the UNCRC Articles and link this to our Rights Respecting Schools work. This session we have also been learning about meta-skills.<\/p>\n
We also focus on a variety of themed weeks and raise awareness of wider issues.\u00a0 Each year we discuss a wide variety of topics including dyslexia, anti-bullying, Book Week Scotland, Robert Burns, global and local issues alongside many more!<\/p>\n
We are often supported at assembly by guest speakers and also benefit from wider links such as the NSPCC, The Food Bank, Mary’s Meals and Pudsey Bear to name a few!\u00a0 If you would like to come along and contribute to our assembly please contact the main office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
