\"\"<\/a>Welcome to Primary 2! We are class of 24 (11 brilliant boys & 13 fabby girls) and our class teacher is Miss Moir with Mrs Cuthbertson also teaching us on a Thursday! We are also lucky to have support from Mrs Kennedy throughout the week.<\/p>\n

We are a super enthusiastic bunch who always try our best in all areas of the curriculum, and we can’t wait to learn lots of new things in primary 2!<\/p>\n

So far, we have enjoyed getting to know each other as a class and have already made some amazing memories including our first MADD Monday, where we had the chance to get super creative with various different art activities.<\/p>\n

We love to keep it active during literacy and numeracy with lots of hands-on activities, songs and games!<\/p>\n

Our first P2 topic is ‘It’s a Bug’s Life’ where we have been learning about the characteristics of a bug and living vs non living things. Through our topic we will have lots of opportunities to investigate and take our learning outdoors!<\/p>\n

We continue to have a play-based approach to learning in primary 2 and we have daily opportunities to lead our learning through play.\u00a0 During this time, we build independence, creativity, social skills and communication skills which are important for our development.<\/p>\n

We have a wonderful journey ahead of us this year and have no doubt that we will work as a team to make it a fabulous year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
