The main aims of the Parent Council are to:
\n\u27a2 support the school in its work with pupils;
\n\u27a2 represent the views of parents;
\n\u27a2 promote contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of early years education and
\nthe community;
\n\u27a2 report to the parent forum;
\n\u27a2 be involved in the appointment of senior promoted staff; and
\n\u27a2 raise funds for the school for the benefit of pupils<\/p>\n
