Prestwick is a typical West of Scotland residential and holiday town and is situated in the heart of Robert Burns country and has a busy airport on its doorstep. There are many of historical interest in Prestwick such as Bruce&#8217;s Well and the Salt Pans.<\/p>\n<p>Prestwick was the venue for the first Open Championship and there are several courses in the local area.
