Primary 4/ 5/ 6/ 7 is made up of 22 pupils and our class teachers are Miss Gallacher and Mr. Moan. On Wednesdays we have our PE specialist, Mr. Crookston, and on Fridays we have music with Mrs. Gibson.
We have been learning about lots of new things including a geography topic on natural disasters, four operations and time in maths, comprehension skills in reading, the UNCRC rights of the child in health and wellbeing, and how to use various resources to create art.
This term, we are very lucky to be receiving tennis lessons from Prestwick Tennis Club, as well as Scottish social dancing practice to get ready for a Days of Dance event with other local schools. We also have Mr. Walker, our brass instrument instructor, who visits on a Monday.
Our Primary 4s are currently working closely with the school community, parents and Church community to prepare for the sacrament of confirmation. Our Parish priest, Fr. Benjamin Mkari, is supporting us in doing this.
Our Primary 7s are beginning their transition process with monthly visits to QMA. They are currently working hard at fundraising for their end of year trip too!
