On Tuesday, Straiton held their French breakfast or ‘Le Petit Déjeuner’ to celebrate all of their hard work in languages. The morning kicked off with Mrs Wallace presenting to parents about the 1+2 approach to teaching languages and why Straiton felt French and German were such fantastic languages to learn. Then it was over to the children who were absolute stars teaching the parents and family members some vocabulary using games, songs and rhymes. Some of the parents were very competitive and definitely deserved a gold star for their effort! The morning ended on a (sugary) high with mouth-watering croissants, pain au chocolat and fruit salad! A very much deserved feast! Well done to pupils and staff!
