The module is designed to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Increase learners\u2019 understanding of traumatic events and the different ways that people can be affected by them and<\/li>\n<li>Help learners recognise where the impact of trauma might influence their work with people affected by trauma<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There are five learning units plus assessment, and the module is designed to take 1-2 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nes.scot.nhs.uk\/education-and-training\/by-discipline\/psychology\/multiprofessional-psychology\/national-trauma-training-framework.aspx\">https:\/\/www.nes.scot.nhs.uk\/education-and-training\/by-discipline\/psychology\/multiprofessional-psychology\/national-trauma-training-framework.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mentalhealth.org.uk\/\"><b><span style=\"background: white\">The Mental Health Foundation\u00a0Scotland<\/span><\/b><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/digitalbrickslearning.com\/\"><b><span style=\"background: white\">Digital Bricks Learning<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.childrenshealthscotland.org\/\"><b><span style=\"background: white\">Children\u2019s Health Scotland<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0have created a\u00a0<b>Professional Learning Resource<\/b>\u00a0for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/\"><b><span style=\"background: white\">Scottish Government<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<b>Mental Health and Wellbeing<\/b>. It has been designed for all staff working in schools across Scotland.\u00a0It is open access and available to anyone who may find it of benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;margin-bottom: 0.9rem\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">The resource takes a\u00a0<b>whole\u00a0school approach<\/b>\u00a0centred around\u00a0<b>prevention and early intervention<\/b>\u00a0to\u00a0<b>promote positive mental health and wellbeing<\/b>\u00a0for everyone in the school community.\u00a0It aims to\u00a0<b>provide school staff with knowledge and understanding of mental health<\/b>\u00a0and wellbeing\u00a0in schools\u00a0and\u00a0a range of opportunities to learn about experiences and advice from\u00a0practitioners\u00a0and young people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;margin-bottom: 0.9rem\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">There are\u00a0<b>four main sections<\/b>\u00a0split into\u00a0<b>bitesize topics<\/b>.
