Numeracy
In school we are learning about doubling numbers and counting in twos to ten. We also have a shop in class and can recognise coins to £2 . There are some activities on Education City to complete. At home you could count in twos while walking around the house or garden and play games using coins.
Literacy
In class we have been learning about instructional writing such as recipes. There is a task on Education City to sort the reciepe in the correct order.
We have also learned two new sounds this week, which are, qu and ou, there is an activity for each on Education City. At home you could look for qu and ou words around the house or in books.
