We, the P7 class, are proud to be part of a vibrant learning tcommunity. Every day, we embrace challenges with enthusiasm and work together to support each other’s growth. Our classroom is a place of respect, where everyone’s ideas are valued, and creativity flourishes. We celebrate our achievements, both big and small, and inspire one another to reach our full potential. With a spirit of cooperation and a passion for learning, we are excited to make this year exceptional. Together, we will build lasting friendships and explore new horizons, ensuring our memories are filled with joy and laughter.
This is our class charter.
Literacy: We have improved our persuasive writing skills, by writing a persuasive essay about a local issue that we would like to be addressed. We have worked in trios to improve our understanding of what we have read, by using contextual clues to understand unfamiliar vocabulary. We have checked our understanding of the unfamiliar vocabulary and noted it in our Magpie jotters for future use in our writing.
Numeracy: We have been learning to calculate the perimeter and area of composite shapes. We have also learned to calculate the volume of a cuboid. We have improved our multiplication skills by revisiting the grid method and repeated addition. We have improved our division skills by revisiting the bar model method and multiplying up strategy.
