October Update
Primary 7 really enjoyed their Challenge Day at Ayr Academy and look forward to the next one! Primary 7 are becoming more independent in their learning and are working hard on their task board jobs! Please remember our PE days are Wednesday and Thursday – we still have very few P7s bringing in gym kit. The children are welcome to bring their gym kit in and keep in on their peg if this is helpful! Over the next few weeks, P7 will have a rugby session on a Monday.
November Update
Primary 7 loved their second Challenge Day at Ayr Academy – we especially loved getting to experience Home Economics and PE. This month, we have also been to visit the local library and did a book scavenger hunt. We worked as a whole class team to find all the books – the librarian was very impressed with us! We also enjoyed a visit from the rotary and supporting the Walk for Water campaign.
December Update
December was a fabulous month in P7! We loved taking part in our final Newton Christmas Show, as well as helping at lots of different Christmas moments through the school. Our dancers and choir had lots of fun entertaining the local community across December with Christmas songs and dances and we also enjoyed our musical performance at Ayr Academy with the cluster schools – well done to those who came along! Our amazing Winter Olympics kept us all fit and healthy in the lead up to Christmas and we had lots of fun!
