Welcome to Primary 4/5. Our teacher is Mrs Maxwell! There are 24 pupils in our class.
This is our class charter.
In Primary 4/5 we have been busy exploring forces, we have looked at push, pull, gravity and friction and have enjoyed investigating these in the classroom and outdoors. We are now going to be looking at water and air resistance. We have used communication, collaboration and problem solving skills during our investigations. In literacy we have been working hard on our weekly phonics and we are currently learning about persuasive writing. Out class novel is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. In maths we have started to explore fractions, we are using lots of concrete materials and visuals to help secure our understanding of fractions. We are also learning how fractions, decimals and percentages are all linked. We have been taking part in weekly singing lessons preparing for SingFest in February.
