This month Primary 4/5 have been working on multiplication and division in maths.  We have been learning how to multiply 2 digit numbers by 1 digit and are moving on to 3 digit numbers soon.  We can divide bigger numbers and use different resources and strategies.  We need to use our exchanging skills to solve these calculations.  We have been learning about plastic pollution, we have watched some of blue planet 2 and have learned about the dangers of plastic pollution.  In writing our model text is a poem called ‘Living in a Plastic World’ and we are working on writing our own poems.  We have also made posters about plastic pollution. 

We have been learning lots about online safety and had a visit from PC McPheat and our digital Leadership pupil group.   In French we have been learning the names for the members of our family and have made our own French family trees.  We have also learned the names for different sports in French.

Primary 4 have loved their SHRED sessions this term and Primary 5 continue to go swimming on Monday mornings and are having lots of fun!
