{"id":932,"date":"2022-03-01T15:35:31","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T15:35:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/maidensprimaryschool\/?page_id=932"},"modified":"2022-03-01T15:36:12","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T15:36:12","slug":"trauma-informed-contact-care","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/maidensprimaryschool\/trauma-informed-contact-care\/","title":{"rendered":"Trauma Informed Contact &amp; Care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Maidens Primary School will be part of Trauma Informed Contact and Care (TICC) from March 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Trauma Informed Contact and Care (TICC)<\/strong>\u00a0is a unique Police and Education early intervention safeguarding partnership that supports children and young people exposed to domestic abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Being part of\u00a0<strong>Trauma Informed Contact and Care<\/strong>\u00a0means that schools will receive a notification from Police Scotland before the start of the next school day when a child or young person has been involved in or exposed to a domestic abuse incident in the previous 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The information is given in strict confidence to the school\u2019s designated contacts who will be the Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, Child Protection Co-ordinator or Named Person. This will enable support to be given dependent on the wellbeing needs and wishes of the child or young person.<\/p>\n<p>The designated contacts have received additional information about\u00a0<strong>Trauma Informed Contact and Care<\/strong>\u00a0and the impact of Domestic Abuse on children and young people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trauma Informed Contact and Care<\/strong>\u00a0supports us to get it right for every child.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maidens Primary School will be part of Trauma Informed Contact and Care (TICC) from March 2022.
