Experiments

In Science I have carried out a range of experiments in a safe manner and have been able to develop my problem solving skills while working on a team presentation.

Mathematics

Maths

I have developed generic and transferable skills such as problem solving, using technology, working as part of a team and making informed choices and decisions.

Maths

I successfully achieved a core of 58% in the CFE Level 4 assessments in March.  I know I still have a lot to do to improve this score and hopefully I will be studying Nat 5 next year.

Algebra

I have now almost reached the end of S3.  My skills in algebra have improved and I have really enjoyed learning new skills in mathematics

Health and wellbeing

Inverclyde

We went of a trip to Inverclyde which was very enjoyable and I learned many new skills.  Next year I will be choosing Nat 5 PE and hope to improve my skills in a wide range of activities.

Learner statement

I am a confident and hardworking student that gets on well with my friends and play an active role in the school.  I aspire to become a PE Teacher and I enjoy playing competitive sports and taking on a leadership role int he sports I play.

Remembrance Sunday

On Sunday 8th November I took part in a Remembrance Sunday memorial day service.  We went to church first and then we went tot he war memorial to watch the poppy wreaths being laid.

Technologies

Dolphin house

Last week we went to Dolphin House for 4 days.  Whilst at Dolphin House I got the chance to do lots of new activities such as orienteering, canoeing, hill walking and we even had a treasure hunt.  I had to share a dowm with 5 of my friends which was really strange but good fun.

Christmas Fayre

Our school Christmas Fayre was on Saturday 28th November.  Our class created a recipe book with all our favourite cakes and  and we sold 100 copies to the mums, grans, aunts etc on Saturday. Armistice Day

Today we used Wikipedia to find information on Armistice Day.  I learned that it is commemorated on the 11th November every year and the first event was held at Buckingham Palace.
