WHAT IS LEARNING JOURNALS?<\/strong>
\nLearning Journals is an online platform that schools and nurseries can use quickly and easily to create meaningful and personal observations of children’s learning that can be shared with you.\u00a0 This means you can log in securely to your child’s learning journal to view and comment on the observations and feel engaged in their learning.<\/p>\n

Learning Journals is easy to use and can be accessed from anywhere using the Learning Journals app.\u00a0 Only you and relevant school staff can access your child\u2019s journal using a unique username as well as a password and PIN. Please note these details are personal to you and you must<\/span>\u00a0not<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>share this information with others.<\/p>\n

Photographs and videos of your child may be uploaded to Learning Journals.\u00a0 Your child may also be included in group images\/videos and shared on the Learning Journals of all pupils included.<\/p>\n

All personal data, including photographs, email addresses and information about your child\u2019s learning are stored securely, within the EU.<\/p>\n

HOW YOUR DATA IS KEPT SAFE BY LEARNING JOURNALS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your data is held securely on Learning Journals’ systems or systems managed by suppliers on behalf of Learning Journals.<\/p>\n

Access to this data is strictly controlled and can only be accessed by people who need it to do their job.\u00a0 Certain data, for example some sensitive information, is additionally controlled and is only made visible to members of staff who have a reason to work with it.<\/p>\n

Learning Journals may need to disclose data if required by the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors.\u00a0 Learning Journals will only ever share your data in other circumstances if they have explicit and informed consent.<\/p>\n
