\u2018Making Thinking Visible\u2019 emerged from work at Harvard University called\u00a0Project Zero, executed by Ron Ritchhart, Mark Church and Karin Morrison (2011).<\/p>\n

The research-based project\u00a0focused on shifting the balance in education from simple curriculum delivery to\u00a0ensuring students understood what they were learning, and the type of thinking\u00a0required to execute it.<\/p>\n

Making Thinking Visible is a pedagogical approach that\u00a0promotes the use of 21 Thinking Routines which places value on the time to think\/ process rather than only\u00a0<\/span>celebrating the correct answer<\/span>\u200b\/end product.<\/p>\n

The Thinking Routines are split into three categories<\/p>\n
