SCILT This link takes you to Scotland’s National Centre for Languages. There is support for homeworking and staff on-line training. You can find out about e-twinning and Learning for Sustainability and how to access funding.
CISS is the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s schools and has lots of CPD and resources to learn Mandarin. You can find out about the work of the primary and secondary Hubs including our own Hubs in South Ayrshire.
National Modern Languages Hub This hub has updated resources for National Qualifications as well as a Learner zone, where pupils can access free language learning resources.
Modern Languages Network This languages wakelet is on the Education Scotland website and provides links for teachers to free resources to support remote working and professional learning.
Bòrd na Gàidhlig is the principal public body in Scotland responsible for promoting Gaelic development and providing advice to the Scottish Ministers on Gaelic issues.
