Schoolwork stress Depending on what age group kids are in school copious amounts of homework causes a great deal of stress. For kids in grades kindergarten through 12th grade "when students are pushed to handle a workload that’s out of sync with their development level, it can lead to significant stress" (Levy, 2017). For college students, the amount of homework is not as bad because a lot more is expected of them and there is a lot of free time from class.
