Today was not for the feint-hearted. We split into two groups one group explored the caves below Culzean Castle – luckily there was no sign of Sawney Bean – or Soggy Bean as he is now known! Meanwhile the 2nd group abseiled down into one of the smuggler’s caves. Some of us challenged ourselves to try this blindfolded. After lunch we were inspired by the volcanic activity along the Ayrshire coast thousands of years ago and we made our own volcanoes – unfortunately some people were just a bit too near the explosions! We then swapped over activities. We are now looking forward to the disco tonight.
brilliant photos. a huge well done to all who abseiled into the caves. don’t think I could’ve done it. hope you all have a great night at the disco
Great photos. Caves look scary! Hope you all enjoy the Disco tonight.
Thankyou to Mr Hardy, Miss Gunning & the staff at Dolphin Hse for a fantastic week of experiences & fun.
Thanks, Rosie. It was an absolute pleasure to take them away. They were all excellent ambassadors for Holmston and we were very proud of them. Unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to get the sheep song or the shark song out of my head!
I really enjoyed the caving, I loved the scary story Marlene told us! Xx
