Heathfield Primary School is a large school at the centre of a well-established community and is well supported by parents, the Parent Council, all staff and members of the wider community.<\/p>\n

Heathfield Primary is a non-denominational school serving the Heathfield area of Ayr; we have an average of 550 pupils each year. \u00a0There is also an Early Years Centre running with 40 children who attend full days.<\/p>\n

On an annual basis placing requests run at approximately 30% of our school population.<\/p>\n

All members of staff recognise that, in everything we do, the best interests of the child must be our top priority. \u00a0In 2013, Heathfield Primary achieved Rights Respecting Schools Level 1 accreditation. \u00a0This underpins all that we do in school and continues to be built upon. \u00a0There is commitment to ensuring that all pupils, parents, staff and partners feel that they are valued and treated with respect. \u00a0We consider each and every pupil as an individual with his or her own needs and rights. \u00a0The importance of supporting pupils to do their best and to achieve success is paramount.<\/p>\n
