Forest Kindergarten

Our Forest Kindergarten programme models a forest school approach for the early years, and is based around child-centered learning through play.

Forest Kindergarten                   offers children in                              Girvan Early Years Centre, regular play opportunities outdoors in a natural setting within our town of Girvan.

Outdoor Areas

 

At Girvan we are very fortunate to have a large spacious outdoor area which has open-ended opportunities for children to explore, children are able to explore risky and gross motor play. Children can explore their imagination in our creation station and mud kitchens.

 

Exploring community parks and local beaches

We regularly explore our wider community, visiting the library, local supermarkets and cafes we especially love our visits to the park and local beach where we meet our value of having fun!
