{"id":4257,"date":"2022-02-24T09:55:05","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T09:55:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/gardenroseprimary\/?p=4257"},"modified":"2022-02-24T09:55:05","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T09:55:05","slug":"growth-mindset-maths-mindset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/gardenroseprimary\/2022\/02\/24\/growth-mindset-maths-mindset\/","title":{"rendered":"Growth Mindset \/ Maths Mindset"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<h1>Growth Mindset \/ Maths Mindset<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>It is important for all of us to develop our growth mindsets.<\/p>\n<p>How often have you shut down and thought &#8216;I can&#8217;t do this&#8217;; &#8216;I&#8217;m not good enough&#8217;; &#8216;this is too hard&#8217;?<\/p>\n<p>By shifting our mindset to more positive thinking, we unlock our own potential for success!<\/p>\n<p>EVERYONE can achieve, regardless of what you perceive yourself to be <em>good<\/em> or <em>bad<\/em> at.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Whether you think you can or you\u00a0 think you can&#8217;t &#8211; you&#8217;re right!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We are working with our children to develop growth mindsets and promote resilience. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves and their perceived limitations.<\/p>\n<p>In maths specficially, we teach children lots of different strategies to solve problems.
