P5-7 are making their thinking visible by using a routine called Step Inside. They are using this routine to explore a range of jobs and professions. They are asking questions like….

Meghan received a certificate for being a good friend to others and always being there to make her friends feel better. Lacey got a handwriting award and Ollie got full marks in his spelling test.
Lacey got another certificate for her PE skills. She is an amazing hula hooper!! And, the Dojo champs in the wee class were Charlie and Ollie (another doubler). Great job,
There were lots of successes celebrated at this week’s assembly.
Kieran received his certificate for stepping up to help out our football team and Christopher was Dojo Champ in the Big Class last week.
Mrs Blain felt Stephen, Nathan and Nikkita all deserved an effort award for the hard work they put in when working with Mrs Blain.

PC Porter came out to meet with our JRSOs who then had the opportunity to use his speed camera and see just how fast cars travelled past the school.
The next Parent Council meeting will take place on Friday 4th May at 9am at the school. All are welcome.

Our JRSOs delivered an input at our assembly, reminding pupils of the importance of staying safe.
They also set up a stall at Parents Night.
