In the Early Years Centre we have enjoyed visits to Maidens to post our Santa letters and enjoyed some snack in the cafe, the children have made some new friends too! Then we had another fun visit to Maidens to see Uncle Billy which was lots of fun too…..he even made us balloon dogs!
We were then invited to Alloway nursery to have fun on the soft play bus and a play in their nursery too. We have been very lucky getting invited to all these places. There’s been lots of arts and crafts in the playroom and lots of mess from the cheeky elves!!
This week we had fun at our party, even invited Mrs Hill, Mr Parks and Jacqui whilst the school children were at the panto! It was a yummy party snack and bursting the balloons was great fun. And to finish our week and this term we had a lovely day at Dobbies visiting Santa and having our breakfast, before playing party games with the elf and Santa.
We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The materials provided by the Gaiety in Ayr had activities at CfE 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels. The activities covered the curricular areas of Literacy, Numeracy, English, Social Studies, Expressive Arts and Health and Wellbeing.
Can’t wait to go and see Cinderella at the Gaiety next week.
Mia also got a literacy award for super descriptive writing and Harvey was rewarded for super presentation and spelling.
Finally, a big congratulations also to Elsi who passed her music exam with flying colours. We look forward to hearing her play at our Christmas Service.
Kyra and Charlie both received literacy awards at today’s celebrating success assembly. Kyra got hers for writing a super persuasive letter to Santa and Charlie for his lovely handwriting. Well done! 🙂
