{"id":868,"date":"2019-03-06T17:47:25","date_gmt":"2019-03-06T17:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/daillypsandeyc\/?p=868"},"modified":"2019-09-06T17:48:11","modified_gmt":"2019-09-06T17:48:11","slug":"term-3-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/daillypsandeyc\/2019\/03\/06\/term-3-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Term 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This term our topics have been Robert Burns and The Vikings.\u00a0 We have studied the life of Burns and created a timeline showing key events.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-623 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/daillypsandeyc\/files\/2019\/03\/IMG_03061-e1553705872699-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1031\" height=\"1031\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While the P5s were at percussion, P4 had the opportunity to further explore Burns life and discovered that he was incredibly famous and in the year 1787 went on a tour of Scotland to promote his poems and songs.\u00a0 We created a map showing some of the places he visited during the tour as well as his homes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-622 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sa\/daillypsandeyc\/files\/2019\/03\/IMG_03071-e1553705828402-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We have learned a variety of songs and poems which we shared with the rest of the school during our Scottish afternoon and Burns&#8217;
