This term as our topic we have been looking at our blue planet. We started learning all about the structure of the Earth, different rocks and minerals and even got the chance to investigate some local fossils that Miss Houston found near Kirk Hill just outside of Dailly. These fossils showed us that an ancient seabed was once there, up on the top of the hill!<\/p>\n

We have done some thorough research on the oceans around the<\/p>\n

world and will continue to look at the life in the oceans, how we humans depend so much on it and ultimately how important it is that we start to look after our blue planet. There is so much to learn and we are all so excited about the things we still have to do, therefore, this topic will run into Term 2.<\/p>\n
