The Award forms part of the child&#8217;s personal learning plan and recognises achievement in a wide range of activities.<\/p>\n<p>The award comprise of 5 sections:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Community<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 pupils will be involved in responding to needs within their local community, encouraging a practical development of active citizenship<\/p>\n<div id=\"et-main-area\">\n<div id=\"main-content\">\n<article id=\"post-286\" class=\"post-286 page type-page status-publish hentry\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_section et_pb_section_0 et_pb_with_background et_section_specialty\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_1-4_3-4\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_3_4 et_pb_column_1 et_pb_specialty_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\">\n<div class=\" et_pb_row_inner et_pb_row_inner_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_3_8 et_pb_column_inner et_pb_column_inner_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text et_pb_module et_pb_bg_layout_dark et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_text_2\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Environment<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 this section encourages pupils to develop an understanding of the environment. This is a group experience, allowing pupils to work as a team, plan tasks, make decisions which affect themselves and others<\/li>\n<li><strong>Healthy Active Life<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 pupils are encourage to participate in physical activity and discover new abilities and develop a sense of personal physical and mental wellbeing<\/li>\n<li><strong>Personal Stretch<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 this is about a personal challenge in an area of interest.
