Dear Parents\/ Carers,<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Welcome to Dailly Primary School and Early Years Centre which is set in the heart of the village and serves the surrounding rural area.\u00a0 The school plays a strong role in the community and participates in a number of local events including the Macmillan Cancer coffee morning and the Remembrance service aswell as organising a range of events which the Community are invited to each year.\u00a0 We hold our Harvest and Easter service at Dailly Parish Church which to further promote links with the local community\/<\/p>\n
All staff at Dailly, work towards creating a happy, relaxed learning environment, where our children will be encouraged to participate in the life of the school and to work hard to achieve their goals.\u00a0 We provide high quality learning experiences which meet the needs of all of the children and provides opportunities to become involved in the wider life of the school.\u00a0 This enables all of our children to achieve success in their learning, develop their confidence and become responsible citizens and effective contributors.\u00a0 The children also benefit from the close working arrangements across the Girvan Cluster where there is an ethos of co-operation and collaboration.<\/p>\n
We aim to involve all parents\/carers fully in the life of the school and in their children\u2019s learning, through invitation to open days, assemblies, whole school events and special lunches.\u00a0 This provides Parents\/Carers with opportunities to see the learning that their children are involved in and enables us to build positive relationships with all of our families.\u00a0 Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to share any ideas or suggestions for improvement.<\/p>\n
Overall, our learners are successful, confident, exercise responsibility and contribute to the life of the school and the wider community. \u00a0We take positive and proactive steps to ensure that factors such as the learning environment, family circumstances, health needs or disability, social or emotional factors, are promptly identified and addressed effectively to ensure that they do not hinder their learning.\u00a0 The hard work and commitment of all staff, pupils and parents has generated a very positive school ethos which permeates the school.<\/p>\n
The school and early years centre is proud to be at the heart of the community in Dailly and I look forward to working in partnership with yourselves to build positive relationships and support your child to be the best they can be.<\/p>\n
