It is a rural school serving Crosshill and its surrounding district.\u00a0 Children come to school by car, taxi or walk. At present (Oct 22) the school roll is 32 in the school and 7 in the nursery.<\/p>\n<p>We currently have one full time class teacher, 2 teachers working job share , a 0.5 principal teacher and a 0.5 Head Teacher who is shared with Minishant Primary School. Additionally, the school has 2 School Assistants one working 27.5 hours and the other working 22.5 hours , one janitor\/cleaner and one catering assistant, and one clerical assistant with 25 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The school is very well supported by Lynn Crossan, Quality Improvement Officer for South Ayrshire.<\/p>\n<p>The school has excellent links with local primaries and the secondary school.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Crosshill Parent Council is very supportive and works well, with, and for the school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crosshill is a village in South Ayrshire situated off the A77 from Ayr to Stranraer.
