TERM 2<\/p>\n

Hello everyone,<\/p>\n

We are excited for term two learning and all the joys of Hallowe\u2019en, Fireworks Night, and Christmas this time of year brings! Our teachers are Mrs Livingstone and Mrs Wallace. We have 22 pupils in our class. This term, our novel study is The Wild Robot and our topic is Scottish Landscapes, which will provide us with lots of rich learning opportunities across the curriculum.<\/p>\n

In Maths and Numeracy, we continue to focus on place value and the four operations, developing both mental and written strategies. We will be focusing on learning our multiplication facts as well and learning about angles and time. In Literacy, we continue to follow South Ayrshire Reads to strengthen our phonics knowledge, while also working on improving our writing by developing punctuation and sentence structure.<\/p>\n

In P.E., Primary 4 are currently focusing on fitness skills and social dancing, and we are also thoroughly enjoying our weekly outdoor learning sessions, which give us the chance to learn in fun, active, and creative ways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
