Welcome to Primary 2\/3! <\/strong>\ud83c\udf1f<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are a class of 24 pupils, with 18 Primary 2 children and 6 Primary 3 children. We work together to follow our school values of being Ready, Respectful and Safe.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, we will work hard to show our school values and be the best we can be. We will work towards becoming Star of the Day and celebrate our achievements through recognition awards at assembly. \u2b50<\/p>\n

We will have homework each month, which will be shared on Microsoft Teams, so please keep an eye out for this. Our class will also enjoy lots of learning with Miss McFarlane on a Wednesday, including outdoor learning, Maths and Science.<\/p>\n

We have lots of exciting learning ahead!\u00a0 We will explore book studies such as Katie Morag and Harris the Hero, as well as topics including Scottish island life with a geography focus and Arctic adventures. For our Charities topic, the children will also choose a charity to support this year and we will work together to raise money for this, so keep an eye out for our fundraising!<\/p>\n

There will be plenty of opportunities to develop new skills through PE, Technologies, outdoor learning and Metaskills focus. We are also looking forward to a school trip at some point during the year!<\/p>\n
