My name is Mrs Kirkwood and I am super excited to be teaching P1 again this year! We have a very busy year ahead and I can&#8217;t wait to share our learning and achievements with you all.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">This term there will be a big focus on helping the children settle into the life of the school. For our topic we will look at &#8216;People Who Help Us&#8217;.\u00a0 We will also do a lot of work on Zones of Regulation to help us understand our feelings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Here is some helpful information for parents and carers:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-editing-info=\"{&quot;unorderedStyleType&quot;:2}\">\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">PE will be on a Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Children can bring an item from home for show and tell on a Friday.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Homework will be given out on a Friday and should be returned on a Tuesday.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Primary 1!
