Our School House Teams<\/strong><\/p>\n

At Barr Primary School and Early Years Centre, we take pride in our vibrant house system, which is an important part of our school community. We now have two school houses: Stinchar<\/strong> and Changue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Sense of Belonging and Teamwork<\/strong><\/p>\n

When pupils join our Early Years Centre, they are assigned to one of these houses and remain part of it throughout their time at Barr Primary. Being in a house helps pupils feel a sense of belonging, encourages teamwork, and provides opportunities for leadership. Senior pupils can become house captains or vice captains, taking responsibility for leading their peers and representing their house with pride.<\/p>\n

Earning Points and Celebrating Success<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pupils can earn points for their house in many ways, including demonstrating good manners, living our school values, and lining up well at key points in the day. Inter-house competitions, such as Sports Day and other challenges throughout the year, offer fun ways for pupils to contribute to their house\u2019s success while developing teamwork skills.<\/p>\n
