Alloway Primary is in the heart of the Alloway district of Ayr. It is close to two parks – Rozelle and Belleisle, where you can play football and rugby on the pitches. Burns Cottage is just down the road and the Monument and Heritage Centre are also close by.<\/p>\n

Alloway Parish Church is within walking distance as is Cambusdoon Sports Centre, where there is a Cricket Club and a Hockey Club. You can also play football there. In addition there are two swing parks close to the school.<\/p>\n

Three roads surround the school – Upper Crofts, Doonholm Road and The Loaning. In Alloway village there are several shops including a Post office, a coffee shop, a gift shop\/flower shop, and a chemist. There is also a Village Hall directly across from Burns Cottage.<\/p>\n
