Williamsburgh Pebble Pals<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re very proud of you staying at home over the last few weeks, especially when it\u2019s been hard being away from friends at nursery.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been missing seeing your friendly faces too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So, we thought it would be nice to make some pebble art together, to remind us our friends are still around, even if we are not seeing them.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what to do!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"1. Find a pebble whilst you\u2019re out on a walk \u2013 it can be any size or shape you like.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>2. Decorate the pebble ANY way you like. \u00a0Use whatever you have; sharpie pens and paint work well, but even nail varnish works (ask an adult to help with this). Be as creative as you like!<\/p>\n

  1. Add your name on the bottom of the pebble.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    4. Take it to the nursery gate and add it to the \"\"<\/a>line of pebbles that have been started by the staff.<\/p>\n

    (of course continuing with social distancing restrictions and hygiene guidelines)<\/em><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    1. Enjoy looking at all the pebbles left by your friends \u2013 hopefully more will be added as the days go by!\u00a0 Why not come past on a trip to Tesco or on a daily walk to see if more have been added… Let us know how you’ve got on by leaving a comment here too!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Muddy Painting!<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Are you missing the new mud kitchen at nursery?\u00a0 Why not try some muddy art at home?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      A note for adults:\u00a0 we know it can be messy, but scientific research says playing in mud helps your child\u2019s immune system and increases endorphins and helps them relax.\u00a0 \u00a0Yes\u2026<\/strong> it\u2019s good for your child\u2019s health to play with mud!\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>This will also help them experiment with mark making, early writing skills too…<\/strong><\/p>\n
