Hi boys and girls
The ladies in the nursery wanted to share with you videos of our new bubbles.
We hope you enjoy our videos, we would love for you to share your thoughts with us.
I hope you enjoy these stories all about different types of weather.
Lets have a look at the weather boys and girls. We have had lots of different kind of weather over these past few weeks. Snow, rain, fog, ice and even some sunshine. How about making a weather chart? You could draw a picture of what the weather is doing. You could make your own weather chart or with an adults help you could print one of from one of the following links.

Once you have completed your weather chart, you could ask mum or dad to share it on Seesaw. I would love to see what you have recorded and of course your drawings of the different types of weather.
Have fun and I hope you enjoy these weather songs.
How about watching the weather report on the tv with mum and dad, and compare it to your weather chart.
Can you make a mask? Which animal would you like to be today? Can you make the animals sound whilst wearing your mask?
Can you draw your favourite animal? What colour is it? How many legs does it have? What size is it?
Here is a game for you to try with your family

Check out Chester Virtual Zoo. Look at all of these wonderful animals, how many do you recognise? What do they like to eat?
Do you think you could use your imagination and move your bodies like the animals…
Can you stretch your body really tall like the Baby Meerkat?
Can you walk on your hands and feet like the Red Panda?
Can you hop like the Tree Kangaroo?
We hope you have lots of fun watching the animals and using your body and amazing imaginations to recreate some of their actions!
This week in our Early Learning & Childcare Class, we have been involved in science experiments and exploring different ingredients. One of these experiments was ‘Fluffy Slime’ The ingredients we needed were glue, bicarbonate of soda, water, food colouring, activator and shaving foam.
N “Look at this rainbow inside” (when the food colouring was added)
N”That’s turning into slime” (When the glue was added)
L said “Activator” when asked what is needed now
F”It feels yucky”
We had such a lot of fun on my first forest visit. We collected sticks with friends to take back to nursery. We are going to use them to make a roof on our outdoor story corner.
The children were using and learning about vocabulary relating to size.
“Look at the size of the stick I found Alison, It’s big!”
Joshua and Benjamin’s band – Great singing boys, we all enjoyed your version of ‘ I’m still standing’. The boys are really enjoying our music area especially our microphones.
Megan and Hamish – Using our hand made piano (made by the children from boxes) to play us a tune. Great imagination used to sing along to pretend music.
