P1 topic: Stick Man

In response to the change of seasons and children’s creativity with natural resources, our new topic in P1 is ‘Stick Man’. Children shall be exploring this story by Julia Donaldson in lots of different ways through learning and play activities. We even have our own Stick Man, family and family tree in our Open area! P1 Self-portrait evaluations

P1 are using QR codes as metacognitive prompts on their self-portrait evaluation displays, to enhance their skill development. We shall update these every term to showcase progress! At the end of the school year families will be presented with all 4 portraits, with a QR code on the back to remind children of their achievement.
