P1b We’re going on a bear hunt!

P1b have been learning to retell the story, ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ using talk for writing skills. This includes using actions and reading pictures. Just listen to the rich language used, unprompted! We are very proud of their efforts!

As part of our Scotland topic we have been investigating castles. We built our own from loose parts, named and wrote labels about its features, voted on it’s name and setting. We brought this to life through green screen technology!

 

 

Using our microscope to explore outdoors

Mason from P1b told us all that he would like to see a snowflake close up, so we took Mrs Mackey’s microscope outdoors to investigate this and more! These pictures include snowflakes, the back of Oscars hand, Allana’s hair, our wooden bench and school sandstone bricks!
