P1 children have been very busy at the Tinker table over the past few months making a robot called Wilibot! This has been inspired by the story ‘One Button Benny’ story, written by Alan Windram. He is now ready to visit our classes and the Open area to help us learn how to write our numbers, 2D and 3D shapes. Click on the following video to hear Wilibot talk, and find out how he was made!
Wow!! Wilibot is just fantastic! The boys and girls have all put so much hard work and effort into making it a success. I hope they are all very proud of themselves as they should be.

They have been thrilled to practice their shapes and how to write their numbers with him. Children have already discussed making him a pet or sibling! We will keep you all posted!.
