{"id":518,"date":"2015-10-20T16:23:09","date_gmt":"2015-10-20T16:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/williamsburgh\/?page_id=518"},"modified":"2022-11-09T16:07:54","modified_gmt":"2022-11-09T16:07:54","slug":"eco-schools","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/williamsburgh\/eco-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Eco Schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Eco Group is helping us to meet the requirements for our first Green Flag.<\/p>\n<p>We can&#8217;t wait to have our Green Flag flying in the school grounds.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the things we are doing to achieve this are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each class will be growing their own herbs in window boxes and hopefully using these in a recipe.<\/li>\n<li>Fruity Fridays &#8211; litter-free days where children bring fruit to reduce litter and recycle skins and peels in new brown bins.<\/li>\n<li>Do a community litter pick next year and a rag bag collection again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Eco Group is helping us to meet the requirements for our first Green Flag.
