We want to be a Rights Respecting School.

We have established a Pupil Steering Group and a Teacher Steering Group. The children and staff were asked to complete a survey, this gave us good information about where we are as a school.

The information helped us create an Action Plan. These actions are what we need to do to achieve Silver.

Some of these actions are:

• The steering group will lead assemblies to raise the profile of children’s rights.
• The steering group will create a regular newsletter to share with parents.
• The teachers will include lessons about rights.
• We will include rights-based language in restorative conversations.
