Forest Kindergarten

Children have been enjoying our forest visits.  We have been learning to keep safe by making boundaries, using ropes, measuring depth of the burn and using our senses.  We have been exploring nature, learning to use magnifying glasses, working together, making nests, playing hide and seek and many more fun things.
We have been lucky to have Derek Shannon who works for the forestry commission come along to a few sessions in the forest.

parents are welcome to come along and join in the fun. If you are interested please see Rona or staff in Skye room for details of our next visit.

We measure the depth of the burn using a stick, this is to make sure it is safe for us to go in.
