She has responsibility for Religious and Moral Education and Social Studies. She will be happy to answer any questions anyone may have. Certain tasks have been delegated to the very capable team of promoted staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Depute Head Teacher (Lower School) &#8211; Mrs\u00a0Vicki Wiszniewski<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Areas of responsibility include day-to-day management &amp; pastoral care for Nursery, Primaries 1, 2 &amp; 3, Language Co-ordinator, the development &amp; progression of Global Citizenship, Eco Schools and International Education. Her remit also includes management of Classroom Assistants and supporting and mentoring probationer teachers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Depute Head Teacher (Upper School) &#8211; Mrs Jacqueline Carberry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Areas of responsibility include the progression and development of Mathematics, Relationships and Sexual Health, Equality and Fairness. In addition the DHT (upper school) has responsibility for pastoral care and support for Primaries 4 &#8211; 7 and is the co-coordinator for continuing professional development of staff. She has responsibility as co-ordinator for Additional Support Needs\u00a0 (ASN) including managing Classroom Assistants, Additional Support Need Assistants (ASNA&#8217;s) and supports students and young people on work experience placements.<\/p>\n<p>All members of the management team share the responsibility for target setting, monitoring progress of the curriculum, raising attainment and achievement throughout the school and ensuring effective strategies for promoting positive behaviour are in place.<\/p>\n<p>The remits for our Principal Teachers are as follows: &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Teacher (Lower School) \u2013 Mrs Emma Hartstone\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pastoral Care Nursery Classes and Primary 1,2 &amp; 3, Monitor Progress of Maths, ICT Development, Promotion of Active Learning, Technologies, Monitor Progress of Language and Support Nursery\/P1 Transition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Teacher (Upper School) \u2013 Mrs Francesca Park<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pastoral Care Primary 4, 5, 6 &amp; 7, Science, Critical Skills, Monitor Homework Diaries, Developing the House System, Health &amp; Wellbeing \u2013 including PE, Modern Foreign Languages Co-ordinator and School Clubs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Teacher (Flexible Learning Resource) \u2013 Mrs Siobhan Fraser<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Day-to-day management of the Flexible Learning Resource.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Effective liaison with parents, base schools, other professionals and outside agencies. Teaching responsibility as part of the Flexible Learning Resource.\u00a0 Ensuring clear guidelines for curricular progression. Monitoring and evaluating the needs of the children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Teacher (Gaelic Medium Department) &#8211; Ms Beth MacPhail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pastoral care responsibility for Gaelic Medium of classes.
