Nursery Coffee Morning
The Language Unit morning class listened carefully and followed instructions to make candles.
We followed the verbal instructions to position the wick.
Next we carefully melted the wax.
Then we added lemon scent to our melted wax. We poured the melted wax into our prepared pots and left them to ‘cure’.
Look at our beautiful scented candles.
The whole school had a great time playing and/or supporting their Houses in our annual competition. Games took place throughout the day organised by Mrs Park and the House Captains.
Well done to everyone who took part and for supporting your House with such enthusiasm!

Just a reminder that there is a meeting for this trip on Wednesday 24 February at 7.00pm. This meeting is for both parents and pupils. We will be discussing the Kit List and the plan for the week at Lockerbie Manor.
We are looking forward to welcoming many visitors to West over the next few days who will be talking about their jobs and skills.

Today the Assessment and Development Class were very busy in the learning circuit.
We worked hard on our sounds, number and fine motor skills.
We all had a great long weekend!
Lots of news this morning about softplay, arts and crafts, park trips and not forgetting some ‘lazy days’!
This (short) week we have lots of learning planned.
