HOLIDAY
Friday 23rd September and Monday 26th September are school holidays. We look forward to seeing the children back on Tuesday 27th September for lots more fun, games and activities! We are keeping our fingers crossed the sun comes out for the holiday weekend!
Just a reminder that the parent ‘drop in’ is on Tuesday 20th September. Times have been allocated and put in your child’s diary. The children have been working hard and have some work on the wall for you to see! We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
If you do not have a time and would like to come along to the ‘drop in’ to hear how your child is settling in class, please write a note in your child’s diary and we will do our best to get a time to you on Monday.
Yesterday we listened really well to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We found another story all about porridge in the library. We really enjoyed the story of ‘The Magic Porridge Pot’.
We enjoyed using our masks to re-tell the Goldilocks story. We all remembered our phrases!
The Bookfair will arrive this Friday and below you will find a timetable for each class to visit.
If you would like to accompany your child to the Bookfair then please come to school at the appropriate time.

Two weeks ago we planted cress seeds and bean seeds. Today we looked at how our plants had grown. We talked about the roots and shoots.
Some of our beanstalks have started to grow. We will see how tall our plants get. Maybe they’ll get really big and we can climb the beanstalk to the giant’s castle!! The children said that Mrs Carberry and Miss McInally have to wait at the bottom of the beanstalk with the axe…..just in case!
We worked hard on Jack and the Beanstalk. Look at our FANTASTIC work!
