Getting Ready for Christmas
We have been working hard to learn all the songs for the Nativity show. We are looking forward to being stars in the show! We hope to see you on the evening of Thursday 8th December or on the morning of Friday 9th December,
Last week we put up our Christmas tree! We all decorated it and put a beautiful star at the top! We are all getting really excited.
Hansel and Gretel
Last week we worked on the story of Hansel and Gretel. We loved listening to the story and watching it on the SMARTboard. We all worked hard to complete lots of fun activities. We were all really scared of the witch but liked the thought of a house made of sweets!
This afternoon we made a Gingerbread Cottage just like the one in Hansel and Gretel. It took a long time to put the gingerbread house together using icing and sweeties!
The best bit was eating the gingerbread house! Yum Yum!

P5 Visit to Vikingar
P5 had a great time visiting Vikingar in Largs. The visit helped to reinforce our understanding about Vikings which we have been learning about recently. We learned so much on our trip it would be too much to type! Have a look at our pictures below…
