Thank you from Primary 3b

Primary 3b were very excited today when we received a surprise package all the way from Glastonbury, Connecticut USA. Inside was a lovely thank you poster from a school that we Skyped during our Skypeathon along with a Pokemon Card for everyone in the class.
We would like to say a big thank you for sending us these super Christmas presents all the way from America!
P3 Carol Singing at Abbeyfield Care Home
Worldwide Christmas Carol Service – No Passport Required!
Primary 3 were really lucky to sing Christmas Carols with children from all over the world using Skype.
We managed to listen to some songs in German from a school in Hungary and joined in some Nativity songs with a school in Hull, England.
On Thursday of this week, we really enjoyed singing songs with a school in Nairobi and a school in New Delhi at the same time! Then in the afternoon we travelled over 13,987 miles, without our passports, to sing Christmas Carols with people from 5 different countries.
It was great to listen to Christmas Carols from all over the world and learn all about Christmas customs in different countries.

P3 Singing at Abbeyfield Care Home
As part of our enterprise topic, Primary 3 have chosen to sing at Abbeyfield Care Home on Monday 19th December at 10.30 am.
As we will be walking there and back, suitable footwear and clothing for the weather will be required.
We already have your child’s consent form within the school but can you please fill in the permission slip the children were given to allow them to attend this event.
The children should wear school uniform, shirt and tie and they may wear their own Santa hat if they have one.
