The school’s nursery class provides 24 places for children aged 3 – 5 years. Our daily hours to accommodate 1140 hours is 8.50am to 2.50pm.

Nursery class provision for 3 year olds born between September to February will start from the first Monday of the month after the child’s third birthday.  If a public holiday falls on the first Monday of the month then children will be admitted on the first Tuesday of that month.  For 3 year olds born between 1 March and August provision will start in the autumn term following their third birthday.

Application forms for a nursery place are available online from the Renfrewshire Council Website. Our school office will also be happy to assist you with this. Parents may register an application for their child from the age of 2 years.

Funded Early Learning and Childcare Provision: 1140 Hours

As of August 2021, children aged 3 and 4 years and eligible 2 year olds are entitled to 1140 hours of funded early learning and childcare provision. The expansion in hours is intended to support child development, help close the attainment gap through the provision of high quality service; and support parents and carers to return to work, train or study.
