World Book Day was a great success across the school and nursery. Thanks to everyone who dressed up and special thanks to parents who came in to #Shareastory with our pupils.<\/p>\n
Thanks to everyone involved in making Fair Trade fortnight a success, especially Miss Docherty and her Fair Trade Committee. It was great to see so many parents and families attending and engaging with the life of the school.<\/p>\n
I missed some of the fun last week as I attended a Head Teachers Leadership Academy with Columba 1400 for\u00a03 days and nights. It was great to\u00a0work with inspiring\u00a0\u00a0leaders from across the country, it was a challenging week, working early morning until late at night. I learned a lot and developed partnerships with other schools which will allow us to collaborate, share good practice and support our\u00a0on-going school improvement.\u00a0 I am committed to my own continued professional\u00a0development\u00a0and using my learning to reflect\u00a0and to\u00a0\u00a0make\u00a0a positive difference at Wallace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
